OUR TERMS

Everything you need to know before booking a trip with us — from general terms of use to how cancellations, payments and your personal information are handled. Select a tab below to jump to a section.

Effective Date: 02 March 2021

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Mogopodi Adventures (Pty) Ltd website and the booking of any trip, tour, transfer, activity or related service ("Services") offered us. By using our website or booking a Service, you agree to be bound these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or Services.

01Who We Are

Mogopodi Adventures (Pty) Ltd ("Mogopodi Adventures", "we", "us", "our") is a tour and travel operator based at 50 Marais Street, Rustenburg, North West, South Africa. We arrange game drives, safaris, tours, transfers and related travel experiences, either directly or through registered third-party suppliers.

02Use of This Website

  • Accuracy of information — we take reasonable care to keep pricing, availability and trip details up to date, but occasional errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct these and to update content without prior notice.
  • Permitted use — you may browse and use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes related to enquiring about or booking our Services.
  • Intellectual property — all text, images, logos and design elements on this website remain the property of Mogopodi Adventures or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.

03Bookings & Acceptance

A booking is only confirmed once you have received written confirmation from Mogopodi Adventures and, where applicable, the required deposit or payment has been received. Submitting an enquiry or contact form does not, on its own, constitute a confirmed booking.

04Changes to Bookings

We understand that plans change. Requests to amend a confirmed booking (date, activity, number of guests) should be submitted in writing as soon as possible. Amendments are subject to availability and may incur additional costs from third-party suppliers. Where a change cannot reasonably be accommodated, our standard cancellation terms may apply — see our Cancellation Policy tab.

05Third-Party Suppliers

Some Services are delivered in partnership with accommodation providers, activity operators, transport companies and other independent suppliers. These suppliers may have their own terms and conditions, which will apply in addition to ours and will be communicated to you where relevant. Mogopodi Adventures is not liable for the direct acts or omissions of independent third-party suppliers, save as required South African law.

06Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or legal requirements. The version published on this page at the time of your booking will apply to that booking.

07Governing Law

These terms are governed the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

General Information

01How Bookings Work

Bookings can be made via our online contact form, phone, or email. Once we receive your enquiry, we'll confirm availability and provide a quote. A booking is only secured once a deposit or full payment (where required) has been received and written confirmation has been issued.

02Deposits & Full Payment

  • Deposit — a non-refundable deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Balance — the remaining balance is typically due prior to the date of the activity; exact terms will be confirmed on your booking invoice.
  • Accepted payment methods — EFT/bank transfer and other methods as communicated our team at the time of booking.

03Pricing

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed. Once confirmed in writing, the quoted price will be honoured save for changes in government levies, taxes or third-party supplier costs beyond our control.

04Group & Corporate Bookings

Group, corporate and custom itinerary bookings may be subject to separate payment terms, minimum numbers and lead times. These will be confirmed directly with you when arranging your package.
